Tag Rugby is becoming increasingly popular and a competitive sport in Ireland. In order to be selected, Both of us have had to play for the Dublin Team and play a certain number of Premiership Games.
The Image below is us last summer in Cork, Playing in the B and I Cup, Where we played against Great Britain, beating them 3 times.
Kayleigh and I have been selected as part of a process to play for Tag Rugby for Ireland in the upcoming Tag Rugby World Cup in Coffs Harbour ,Australia. After being in college all year, coming up with the money for this trip of a life time will be very difficult. We are asking for for as much support and help as possible to be able to achieve this goal.
Kayleigh and I have been playing Tag for the last 3 years. We came to the game late, as we have been playing rugby since underage. Kayleigh has already represented her country playing Touch Rugby for Ireland U-18's in the European Championships in Nottingham and Swansea. Kayleigh has also played rugby at a very high level playing for U-18's Leinster girls team. I have played for Ireland tag last year against Great Britain, making 3 appearances.
So the money we receive here is not all of the funds that are needed, We need a little help with paying for flights and accommodation while we are there. We are hoping to fund-raise the other half of the trip.
