Jay is my brother in law. My dearest sister Denise's husband. They have been together since they were very young.
They have 2 beautiful children together. My niece who is 21 and my nephew who is 12.
So he's really like my brother.
We have been through it all as a family.
In October of 2015 he was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma cancer. Which is a kind of cancer that stems from the lungs. It traveled throughout his body and was found in his brain, lower spine & hip area.
3 months after he was diagnosed he received radiation for the lesion in his brain which is at the moment non-active.
As time moved on.. he began to feel better with the treatments that he had been receiving. Until he didn't.
The pain began again and after getting retested turned out the medicine he was being given was no longer working and the cancer once again became active. This has him unable to perform his daily activities and be the man that he used to be.
Right now we are looking for help with the therapeutic laser radiation treatment which will target the lesions without killing his good cells. His insurance will only cover partial payment.
I am asking anyone and everyone who is able to or can assist my family by donating whatever it is you can to help!! It will be much appreciated and we ask that you keep us in your prayers.
