Help Syrian Refugees

My name is Kylie Swenson and I am a senior at Millis High School. For my senior project, I knew I wanted to do something to help people in need. The violence of Syria's civil war has wreaked havoc on the lives of countless innocent people. As of now, there are over 4.9 million registered refugees across the globe, with 6.6 million Syrians still internally displaced inside of their country. Most refugee camps are overcrowded, deprived of recources, and entirely dependent for humanitarian aid for medical supplies, shelter, food, clean water, etc.
          After much research, I found the perfect charity to fundraise for. All of the funds from this campaign will go to the American Refugee Committee, a four star charity dedicated to providing the basic needs of refugee camps, while also working alongside fellow Syrians to provide education and protect Syrian women from the threat of sexual violence. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, for it would be of incredible benefit to both my senior project, and millions of Syrians in dire need of aid.

After the campaign, I will be withdrawing all of the funds to make an online donation that will go directly to the American Refugee Committee at arcrelief.org.
