Welcome to Symbol of Solidarity!
My name is Lola Slider. I'm a body piercer working at Forevermore Tattoo Parlour in Glasgow, Scotland and I am auctioning off a 14k solid yellow gold sapphire ring hand made with love by Sacred Symbols.
Sacred Symbols are a small Mexican fine jewellery business who have made some of my all time favourite pieces from my own personal jewellery collection.
After purchasing a few new items from them to sell just this week my joy quickly turned to sadness when I read the news that a 7.1 magnitude earthquake had hit 75 miles outside of Mexico city. The destruction is still unfolding, the death toll as I'm writing this is now over 200 confirmed deaths however with hundreds of collapsed buildings including several apartment blocks, factories and most alarmingly a primary school full of children - that number is sure to rise in the following weeks.
Every penny donated will be transferred directly to Topos de Tlateloco, a non-profit organistion fronted by trained volunteers who are pulling dead and dying children, men, women and animals from collapsed buildings as I write this.

A little about the jewellery - This is a solid 14k yellow gold seam ring featuring a genuine claw set baguette cut sapphire. The ring measures 1x8mm or 18g 5/16". This piece would retail for £140, it could be yours for £5.
Each £5 donation we recieve will enter your name into the auction, donations in multiples of £5 will result in multiple entires so if you donate £20 you will be entered 4 times for example so enter as many times as you like.
This is NOT a UK exclusive, we are accepting donations from all around the world and will ship this piece anywhere. It goes without saying we will also be packing your prize with as much FMT studio merch as possible.
