Sylvester for Wildlife

Sylvester was an orphan cheetah who could not be rehabilitated to the wild. He acted as an ambassador cheetah to spread awareness of cheetah/wildlife conservation.

I met Sylvester for the first time in 2011, again in 2015 and for a final time in 2016. Shadowing him on his morning walk was one of the most privileged and inspiring things I will ever do.

My heart broke when I heard that beautiful Sylvester had passed away from wounds sustained during an altercation with a leopard. He was the spark that ignited my passion for wildlife conservation.  

This GoFundMe page has been set up in Sylvester's memory, to support the conservation trust that raised and cared for him. We are hoping to raise awareness and $1000 to assist the trust in continuing their wonderful work in wildlife conservation. 

In addition to your kind donations, Shell's African Safaris is donating a proportion of their 2019 tour costs to the cause. 
The money raised will be hand delivered to the trust in November as part of Shell's Signature 2019 Wildlife Tour.
