Nepal Health Promotion Challenge

As nurses, Emily and Kiana will be travelling to Kathmandu Valley, Nepal in November/December of 2018. They will be joining the Challenges Abroad Team in improving community health by running health promotion workshops with local community members and within local schools.
Raising this goal amount will provide Emily and Kiana with the opportunity to contribute to this programme by assisting to improve the current lack of basic health knowledge and resources available to not only the Nepalese school children, but also to their families and wider community.
This programme will tackle topics such as general hygiene and sanitation, girls/women's health, dental hygiene, diet and nutrition, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Their aim is to raise the goal amount which will provide them with their accommodation and meals throughout the work week, as well as actually providing the service to the community. Flights and extra curricular activities will be funded personally by Emily and Kiana.
