Sydney's Senior Thesis Project Fund

Hi- my name is Sydney. I'm an 18 y/o high school student at Highline Big Picture, and an amature creative writing author. I'm currently working on my senior thesis project, Saltwater, which is a creative writing project where I'm using my real-life experiences with mental illness and telling my story through original poetry. This short book of poems is my way of reaching out to the community of adolescents who struggle with their mental illness and saying "hey, you're not alone."
I will be writing, editing, marketing, publishing, and selling my poetry collection all on my own through CreateSpace.com (expected launch, March-April.) With the earnings from book sales, I plan to donate a portion of the money raised to a non-profit youth mental health support center in order to get kids and teens like me the resources they need in order to have full support from their community.  The rest of the money will be the beginning of a post high school/college fund for myself. 
I'm utilizing GoFundMe as a resource on the off chance that my books don't sell the way I hope for. I want to be able to give back to my community- so, 50% money raised on this site will be donated to a youth MH support organization, regardless of high or low sales profit.
If you have even a dollar to spare, please help me complete my project and support mentally ill adolescents in my community!
