Maira is a competitive age group swimmer in the Pacific Northwest and
competes with the Bellingham Bay Swim Team (a swim club under the USA
Swimming Umbrella). She is super competitive, motivated, and works
extremely hard and loves it.
She recently changed teams from one that is literally down the street to one that is 50+ miles away. Making this decision was not easy as the time and financial commitment has significantly increased.
The new team is exceptional with great coaches, a top notch facility, a focused team vision, and the atmosphere and camaraderie of a true family. Swimming with BBST is ideal, as it provides her with the key ingredients (along with her drive, attitude, and continued motivation) to her continued success and will contribute to her achieving her athletic goals.

Being that we are a single income family of seven, your support no matter how big or small is what makes her success possible. Your generosity is appreciated, and used wisely for team dues, registrations, travel expenses, and team equipment and mandatory uniform.
