Every night at Greene Street Friends, Marisol (Cruz Araya) and her son James (Jeinz Rodolfo Ureña Cruz) would arrive to take care of our school. Their job was Stewardship of our spaces.
Those of us who worked into the evenings knew them both well, and appreciated their generous smiles, their thorough work, and their kindness.
It was with horror and shock that we learned of James's tragic passing in a motor vehicle accident the weekend of November 23. James was only 21 years old.
We have created this Go Fund Me to assist Marisol with funeral expenses and transporting James, so that he may rest in peace in his hometown of our beloved sister-country - Costa Rica.
