sweet black lab with broken jaw

MY HANDS ARE SHAKING AS I TYPE THIS. 

I cant imagine what this little dude went through. 

Last night the City of Shasta Lake Animal shelter got a call to save a dog tied to the train tracks.  When they arrived on scene and got the pup free, they released he had been hurt. It is unknown if the train hurt him or something else. But he has a broken jaw.  He seems to be maybe a year old. 

The shelter called to ask for support raising funds this morning to get this guy the surgery he needs. The shelter is a very small municipal shelter and they don't have the funds to cover such a extensive surgery. But they wholeheartedly want to help this guy get the medical care he absolutely needs. 

This guy is at the vet right now, getting pain meds, in hopes that we can raise $1500 (at a mininum) for his procedure. 

I rarely ask for donations or do fundraisers on this page. But this is literally an emergency.  Can we pull together and help this little guy get well?
