Sweden 18U baseball team
A new chapter in Swedish sports is about to be written...
Sweden with its small population has had a long history of excellence in sports.
Today, a newfound interest in baseball is emerging in Sweden. Judging by the young team’s performance in the 18U championships in 2016, there is clearly great potential. With your help we can provide Swedish players and coaches access to the skills of elite US coaches and rapidly take Swedish baseball to a new level.
PHASE ONE for this funding is to cover the cost of bringing top US coaches to Sweden and provide an elite intensive camp for players and Swedish coaches this summer, plus bring the US coaches to Croatia for the European Championships qualifier in July 2017
PHASE TWO is to create a larger fundraising gala in the fall of 2017 where you get to meet with sports and music stars. (This gala is not guaranteed as of yet, but likely, and as a donor you will be getting a special inviation to this.) The funds from phase 2, will cover continued player and coach education, improvements of indoor facilities (batting cages), special camps, and rapidly lift Sweden’s 18U team to become a very strong contender for the European Championships in 2018. And ultimately your donation will inspire and help more young kids in Sweden to play baseball.
