The Sutherlands Flood Relief

After the huge rainfalls in Far North Queensland during late March Kuranda's beloved family the Sutherland's experienced a night most would never want to remember.

The creek on the property was subject to heavy flood waters that raged onto their property, flooding their house and car. The contents of the house and property was all but washed away leaving very little but mud and debris when the flood waters subsided. The family spent a terrifying few hours stranded at the top level of their house. Thank fully flood waters resided in the early hours of the morning returning them to safety.

However their 4wd is now a write off, filled with mud, most of their furniture was washed away or destryoed including household items...even their shoes! They also lost their small start-up nursery which included approx 7000 plants worth over $40,000 along with all their gardening tools, including a John Deere ride on mower. Basically they lost everything.

We are now banding together to help show our love to this beautiful family who has given so much to so many!
