Sustainable Transportation Fund!

Hello, Hello! My name is Keiko, I’m a queer black femme and the sole owner and operator of Knooks N’ Krannies Vintage (@knooksvintage ). Knooks Vintage is a passion child of mine that has come completely full circle for me, by becoming one of my main sources of income. I without a doubt wouldn’t have made it this far without all of the help and support from my loved ones and peers, and I’m hoping that things can swing full circle once more! As we move closer and closer in the warmer months, Knooks and I are in more need than ever to… raise funds for a car! That’s right, a whole vehicle y’all.
As Knooks grows, so does its ever flowing inventory, the need to travel for sourcing, as well as the need for transportation to vend at markets (in and out of state). As you can imagine, it can be more than a hassle trying to rent, take Lyft/Uber and or relying on friends for transportation. With the heat of the summer rising, as well as the load of sourcing that has to be done, it’s unsafe for me to spend long periods running around in extreme weather conditions with an excessive amount of pieces. Unfortunately, this is what I have to do to keep my shop afloat and all of you in the flyest digs around! I’m more than willing to put my heart and soul on the line for my shop but I’d like to think that life doesn’t have to be this hard, haha!
Having a car may seem minor for some, but having private transportation is HUGE privilege and luxury. A luxury that makes an extreme difference in what I can do for myself and for all of you! Having this vehicle will allow me to continue doing what I do best and build a better future for my shop.
So this is where you come in! I know another GoFundMe is something we all want to avoid but I think we can all agree that it’s better to ask for help than to not ask at all! Buying a car and funding all of the necessary expenses adds up:
- the cost of the car itself
- the gas to get it going and keep it going
- and the insurance and safety essentials to keep myself and everyone around me safe.
These pieces of the equation are necessary and unfortunately out of my means, but I know I can make it happen with your help!
I’m hoping with the love and assistance from all of you that I will be able to fund a car and all of the needs that come with it by July. This funding will help me continue to grow my shop in an efficient and sustainable way for both my customers and myself!
