Susan Has Gone Home to Jesus

Donation protected
Susan has been fighting for over 15 years. She has battled most of her issues due to diabetes. In April 2005, she had a triple bypass following her first heart attack and has had a constant struggle with her health ever since.

On October 18th, Susan was admitted to Clark Memorial Hospital for fluid build up and was released to go home 3 days later. On October 23rd, Susan had a bad fall, which resulted in a head injury and brain bleed. She was released from U of L Hospital to recover at home 3 days later. She had requested close family to come from states away to see her.

On October 27th, she told family she is tired of fighting and is ready to go home. She wanted to stay in the comfort of her own home to pass, but her pacemaker just wouldn't let her. At her request, we contacted emergency services to transport her to the hospital to request her pacemaker be turned off.

Susan will be getting hospice services to help her pass with peace and dignity. Local family has missed a lot of work to be able to be with her, so we are having a difficult time with the financial necessities that goes with her passing. With her pre-existing medical conditions, she could not qualify for life insurance, so we are asking for donations to help lessen the financial obligation. If it is something you can help with, we would be very grateful for any assistance to go towards her final expenses. If you are unable to help, we understand completely. All prayers are very welcome and if you have a memory of Susan, please feel free to post below.
