Surround & Drown Jake's Cancer

Jake Hoinowski is a lifelong firefighter and volunteer in Clarks Summit and the Abingtons.  He's always been there to help his friends and neighbors.  Now it's time for us to help him.

In November, 2016 Jake was diagnosed with cancer - diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and double-hit lymphoma.  He underwent major surgery on his arm to remove three cancerous tumors and began chemotherapy.  Despite these efforts, the cancer has continued to attack his lymphatic system.  Jake now travels to Philadelphia once a month to receive targeted immunotherapy treatment for his cancer.  Jake will owe more than $20,000 for the portion of the medicine that is not covered by insurance.  He'll undergo a total of 18 treatments of immunotherapy.

His family and friends want to help him in any way possible.  This GoFundMe account is being set up to help pay medical expenses, travel expenses to Philadelphia, and help cover day to day bills.
