Injured Cat needs tail removal
Donation protected
Hello,
Lilly is a pretty petite 3 year old cat that has a severe tail and back injury. She went outside and then did not come home for five days. When she finally came home she had a major pull injury on her tail. It was dislocated, had been pulled almost off her back. It has a gash on it and it is also broken in another spot 2/3 way down. She has an open sore on her back where the tail attaches and she has an open sore on the upper part of the tail where it was pulled.
She was taken to the vet on Octo ber 17, 2017, Tufts at Tech in Worcester, Ma, where she was evaluated. The tail must be removed because of the severity of injury.
Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic is a teaching facility for students at Cummings School and students at Worcester Technical High School. The estimate for Lilly's medical care and surgery are at reduced rates. She is a beautiful young cat that deserves to be saved, as without surgery she will have to be euthanized.
Medical Care for Lilly:
Vet clinic initial evaluation and medications $ 50
Surgery and medications $308
Follow up care vet clinic/meds $ 50
