Donation protected
TunMicro Sickle Cell Support Group seeks financial assistance for Adebimpe Tolulope Shenbote, who was born with Sickle Cell Disease, having been a Sickle Cell sufferer all her life. Despite her Sickle Cell crisis, she has also been diagnosed  with Avascular Necrosis condition and the orthopaedic surgeon has advised to have an urgent hip replacement surgery in the UK to help her walk without crouches.
Adebimpe had her first hip replacement surgery in India but unfortunately, she had an infection. She’s had 7 other surgeries in Nigeria in an attempt to treat the infection and Avascular Necrosis. She is now sepsis free as suggested by her last blood work and her consultant has advised that she have the surgery in the United Kingdom because of the sensitivity of her case and to avoid any other complications.
Unfortunately, Adebimpe and her family cannot afford to fund this desperately needed procedure so we at TunMicro Sickle Cell Support Group are hereby appealing to all kind-hearted individuals and organisations for urgent financial support to help save her life so that  Adebimpe can continue her education towards completing her bachelors degree and not be a burden to others as she has been an inspiration others living with Sickle Cell Disease by being a Sickle Cell Warrior.
