Surgery for Ellipsis (Eli) for Paul and Linda Lee
Donation protected
I have started this #gofundme campaign for friends Paul and Linda Lee. Taking care of seriously injured kitties can be a great expense. Please consider donating any amount to help Eli heal. And, read their story below
"Ellipsis or Eli appeared in our garage in February 2019. We had never thought of getting a kitten as our last cat was killed by coyotes (we live by Centennial Park in SM)& broke our hearts. Eli hissed & hissed, but soon my wife got him to start playing with a toy attached to a string...those of you who know me understands my passion for “the Power of Play “... So, this little kitten went from hissing at us to become the most affectionate friend... On the side of his body, there’s the three dots... With a wife and daughter both being teachers they came up with the kitten’s new name ELLIPSIS which means...dot, dot dot. We believe in being responsible for an animal who becomes a pet 100%. Consequently, we have pet insurance for our dog Loki. We never anticipated a feral & wild kitten adopting us as his parents and did not get pet insurance... Thus, we are just heartbroken with Ellipsis’ accident...the vet believes he got clipped by a car. PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY & WATCH OUT FOR PETS AND SMALL CHILDREN... Thank you!!!"
The Lees have already paid $1351 toward Eli's healing. The surgery will cost an additional $2275-$3035. Thank you!
