Surgery for Bromius

Bromius is a sweet, fun-loving puppy who has an unfortunate deformity. His front leg has malformed bones causing his wrist to jut outward, the bones to grow longer on one side and not grow at all on the other side, and the elbow socket to sit out of position.  He does his best to keep up with other pups, but sometimes playing and having fun become painful so he has to come in and rest while everyone else is out having a good time. This is tough for a puppy. 

If left without surgery, he will eventually experience extremely difficult arthritis and pain in the wrist, elbow and shoulder joints. He might even need the leg fully amputated. This little man deserves so much better! 

Surgery has been estimated at $4900 - $5500 as long as there are no complications. This includes pre-surgery bloodwork, sedated radiographs, surgery on the wrist, elbow and muscles between the bones, as well as, inclusion of metal plates and pins. The fee also includes his follow up care!
