Suresh's Earthquake Relief Fund
Donation protected
In 2015, Nepal and its people were rocked by one of the most devastating earthquakes in its history. Over eight thousand were killed, tens of thousands more injured, and lives changed forever. The effects were felt throughout the entire country. But what we sometimes forget, when a news cycle turns over, is that problems are ongoing.
I was recently contacted for help by a Nepalese friend I made when I visited the country only a few months before the earthquakes. Their economy is hurting. Their business is flailing. It's taking so much longer for life to return to normal than anyone could have imagined.
Suresh Pun and his family live in Pokhara. They are beautiful, and generous, and above all kind. When strangers visit their country, they are taken care of with open arms and open doors. In short, they would do anything they could to help people. And now we'd like to help them.
Any money at all that we can raise for them would make an enormous difference in their lives.
Thank-you.
*About Me
My name is Sean Carney. I live in Melbourne. I travelled in Nepal in late 2014, where I met Suresh and his family and have remained friends with them since. He recently reached out to me for financial aid, and I'd like to a little more than what i can do on my own to help him. 100% of the money will be transfered to he and his family.
