Help support the Parsons family

As Tinas mom, and the grandma for Ben I just want to say the primary reason Tina wanted a story to be covered for Ben was to make more mothers and families aware as no child or family should have to suffer in the way her baby and family has in the past 7 months.

When Tina was pregnant with Ben she got the first round of genetic testing done, as well she also completed a couple of ultrasounds including at least 1 detailed ultrasound, and followed through with doctors appointments etc to ensure the health of her baby.

It was not until after Benjamin was born that there was any indication of health complications.
The testing and ultrasound procedures should have recognized the possibility of complications prior to Benjamins birth

An hour following Bens birth was when the first deformity was noticed.
He had 4 fingers on 1 hand, this made the 10 fingers and 10 toes statement that many people make a little awkward for Tina...
No one at surrey memorial where Ben was born noticed that Ben only had 4 fingers on 1 hand until Tina notified a nurse.

Tina noted that there was a very noticeable scar on her placenta ...

And when Ben was born his cry was different and his feet didn't look right in which case Tina was dismissed as some one in the family had a long middle toe

Afterwards was when the rollercoaster truly began.
A paediatrician visited with Ben and it was noted that all his hands and feet were all deformed, that he had a cleft palate, a hole in his heart (apparently a common occurance for newborns) ultrasounds noted that Benjamins brain was severely deformed, and failed to form correctly.

And further testing conformed that Benjamin was likely blind and deaf, or had limited sight or hearing.

and significant curvature to his spine, that got worse the older he got.
And noticable seizures that began following his birth

At the time, of Ben's passing he was still the size of a newborn baby, and at last weight was approximately 9 pounds, 7 ounces, although he had just turned 7 months on May 30, 2017.

Tina's concern is that both Ben and the family should not have suffered this way, and with the technology available, there should have been enough key indicators to show prior to his birth that something was wrong, so other mothers and families hopefully do not ever have to experience the pain and sorrow and suffering that Baby Benjamin Raymond Allan Parsons and his family experienced throughout his short life.

Rest peacefully Baby Ben
