Jeanne Clive - House Fire

My next-door neighbour, Jeanne Clive's, home caught fire today while she was only away from the home for a short time. I called 9-1-1 after seeing smoke billowing out of her windows. Her three dogs were inside.
Firefighters brought out the first two dogs and began working on them immediately. The third dog took much longer to find, but she was found, alive. All three were taken to the animal hospital. The first two are thankfully stable and off oxygen now. Unfortunately, since the third dog had sustained greater injuries than the other two, she passed away.
Vet bills are already at $5000 on day one, and the remaining two dogs will require ongoing care to recover. Although the house is insured, the veterinary expenses are not covered.
It would mean the world to me and to my amazing community-minded neighbour Jeanne if our community could pull together to support them during this tragic time. I understand that the vet bills could hit upwards of $8
,000. I've set that as our goal for the GoFundMe. Jeanne has lost so much in this fire, and thankfully thus far, two of her precious fur babies are still alive. We will be grateful for any/all support in any amount.
