Supporting Vicky's recovery

I've been given the honor of sharing my sister's story in order to share awareness and seek help for someone who has traditionally prefered giving to receiving. She has a rare auto immune disease that has been severely damaging her lungs over the last few years (and likely much longer). Her medical team has recommended a lung transplant and I'm happy to report the team is seriously considering putting her on the list which means she looks to be a good candidate. Luckily, she has medical insurance but there are many medical and non medical expenses that are not covered as she works to stay healthy leading up to and beyond the transplant. In order to qualify for a transplant the family has to show their commitment and seriousness by reaching out for financial help. As we are a big team of family and friends who love her beautiful big hearted self, I don't think it should be hard to show our commitment with any amount we can afford. Let's show her we match her commitment to recovering from this disease.
