Supporting Vanessa through her breast cancer journey.
Vanessa has just been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. At only 32 years of age she faces a journey of chemotherapy, radiation and surgery over the next 8-12 months. With her on this journey will be her loving husband James and her two gorgeous kids Emily (4) and little Henry (2 but nearly 3!).
The expenses in the months ahead will be difficult for the young family to sustain so we are asking for your help. Vanessa will be on sick leave from her teaching position, but James will also need to take time off, as well as missing out on valuable over-time, to be with the kids and to support Vanessa. The gaps between treatment costs and Health Funds are huge but we can help relieve this burden just a bit by adding to the fund.
We will update you on Vanessa’s progress as she continues with her chemo in the next few months.
