Dear Shibumi Community,
The entire world has changed in these past few months and we know this has been an incredibly trying time for most everyone. With being able to slowly reopen on the horizon, sadly it will take us awhile to be able to rehire the entire staff again. Shibumi Gallery and Studio supports nine staff members and their families along with helping to support up to forty artists.
While we were able to secure funds to ensure that our staff was safe and supported during the shelter in place order, we are now seeking help to be able to rehire them as we begin to open again. While we greatly appreciate the support for buying jewelry, for some this may be a simpler way to help support us. Hundreds of small acts of kindness can add up to a lot. The staff at Shibumi is an incredibly creative and dedicated group of individuals who we consider family.
