Supporting Jed & Oskar

As we've tragically become aware, Tarana unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, 18 May 2019. This is harrowing news to Taz' friends, and family, and even more devastating to her partner and our friend, Jed, and their little man Oskar.

It's safe to say that we all knew Tarana as an incredibly supportive, adoring and vivacious woman, who together with her soulmate, shared an unyielding passion for independent music and friends. Taz and Jed run Stand Your Grounds (SYG) which is responsible for bringing some incredible independent/DIY punk and hardcore acts from around the globe to Canberra and beyond. Taz injected love, and life into the community, affording everyone that she met genuine enthusiasm and her undivided attention. 

If we can band together and support Jed & O even half as much as they have supported you, me, your band, the music scene, local business, and artists then we will be making a big impact to a little family that has tragically been torn apart far too soon.

Please share far and wide with your networks and remember that no contribution is too small.
