Supporting Giovani and family

Giovani was a strong active  Auburn Riverside High School student that loved sports and played football and basketball for this school.  He was a shy young man that never had much to say.  One day he was taken to the emergency room with seizures, a few weeks later the doctors informed his family that he had Glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer that is rarely found in youth.  Although they told him he could only live a few months he beat many odds and continues to fight 2 years after his diagnosis.  After 4 surgeries to remove tumors, learning to walk, speak and function again multiple times they received the news that the last treatments did not work. Tumors had multiplied and doubled in size.  Gio decided to no longer receive treatment as they made him so sick.  On August 9th he was rushed to the hospital and now they are just managing his pain.  Gio has now decided he would like to be at home as the process continues.  His mother has raised him as a single mom and has been by his side every step. She has not been able to work as his seizures continued through the 2 years.  They really need our help as having him home is costly and they are struggling daily. We are asking for help as we would like to relieve some stress from his mother Yolanda and allow her to focus on Gio during this time.
