On February 8, 2017, my beautiful mum lost the love of her life (my step dad) unexpectedly in our home. She lost her best friend and her soul mate. It has been devestating to say the least.
She works full time to support us and pay the bills, but things have been really tough and in my current position, i don't earn enough to really help her out the way i'd like to.
She is the strongest woman i've ever known and it breaks my heart to see her struggling not only emotionally, but financially.
Her birthday is coming up on the 19th of May and i would really love to be able to surprise her by paying her bills for the next few months, or at the very least - take her out to a nice dinner and give her the treatment she really deserves.
In her current position, she isn't able to save any money or do anything nice for herself and i am desperate to change that for her. If you've ever met her, you know how much of a beautiful, kind and caring person she is and she deserves the world, if only i could give it to her.
Money won't bring Amir back, as much as i wish more than anything that it could. But it would make Angela's life that little bit easier, if she didn't have to constantly stress about money.
Please do not take the $5000 goal the wrong way - in no way am i expecting that much from anybody. To be completely truthful, i hate asking for anything at all, but more than that, i hate seeing what my mum is going through every single day.
Every little bit counts and you will never know how truly grateful i would be if you were able to help out. It would change lives, i can guaruntee that.
