Support Baby Dalton's Battle with Cancer

Donation protected
On January 22nd, 2019, my nephew, Dalton Alec, was diagnosed with Pneumonia and Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia at only 4 months old. On January 23rd he started chemo and was put on a ventilator due to a collapsed R Lung. The following day, Dalton was put on ECMO- a form of life support- when he was diagnosed Respiratory failure, kidney failure, and septic shock. On January 25th, Dalton started Kidney Dialysis.

Since January, my nephew has spent time both at home with his parents and siblings, as well as time in the hospital due to fevers, to place a G-tube in his stomach so he can receive proper nutrients, as well as to undergo many rounds chemo to help aid in defeating the cancer. On May 15th, Dalton started full doses of Chemo ATG which is a strong dose of Chemo which was made to wipe out Dalton's immune system so he could successfully take on a bone marrow donation.

On May 23rd, Dalton went in for his bone marrow transplant surgery. Happy and full of life, Dalton laughed and played with his toys and his parents following his transplant.

On May 27th, Dalton spiked a fever and started to experience more pain after which he was placed on antibiotics and Oxygen. After 3 days, Dalton was placed on a ventilator in the PICU after his breathing became critical. Dalton received platelets twice a day, and has recently been receiving the help of an oscillator to aid in oxygenating his blood.

Today is Tuesday, June 12th. Dalton still remains in the PICU on the ventilator and is possibly facing being put on ECMO. My brother and sister-in-law havent held him in two weeks, and Dalton's siblings haven't seen him in weeks either.

Being only nine months old, my little nephew has been through so much already and his parents are doing everything they can while making sure that Dalton's 5 siblings, my nieces and nephews, at home are also receiving the best they can receive at the moment.

I'm looking to raise some money to help my brother and sister-in-law out with any expenses I can. Whether they need grocery money, diaper money, parking money at the hospital, etc. Anything to help with the kids and the overall care of their family at moment. I mean, what else can you do when you're over 2,000 miles away??  I love my family and I want the best for them always and hopefully, whatever we can raise, will help them in any way needed.
