Help Ben Milner kick cancer

Donation protected
Last year my 43 year old brother Ben was diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer. It was a devastating shock to him, his wife Gemma, (with whom he has a 3 year old son Freddie) and our entire family. As a builder, cyclist and surfer, cancer was not something we even considered when he complained of chest pain and was wrongly diagnosed several times with pleurisy.
Ben had the kidney along with the primary tumour removed but the secondaries in his chest are not operable and as chemotherapy is not viable either, treatment options in the UK are limited. He has been on a clinical trial drug for the last year and this along with various alternative therapies seem to have kept him stable but he has now been taken off the trial as the detrimental side effects are outweighing the benefits. As there are no more options available for Ben in the UK he is embarking on treatment at a private clinic in Germany (Dr Herzog) which offers pioneering treatments for all kinds of cancers, often with incredible results. We are certain this is Ben's best chance to beat his cancer and to live more comfortably and happily with the effects of the disease. Ben has come back from the clinic looking and feeling better already but a 3 week stay has cost £20K and he will need several more visits.
In an attempt to help Ben raise the funds his family and friends are organizing and taking part in various fundraising events but we are also hoping to spread the net wider and ask for help from anyone who is touched by Ben's story. If you can give a small donation his family, wife Gemma and 3 year old son Freddie would be enormously grateful.
