As part of a LinkedIn For Good project, we are setting up a campaign in Graz to raise funds and help refugees get a chance at a better future in Austria.
LinkedIn for Good’s mission is to connect underserved communities – in particular youth, refugees, and veterans (U.S.) – to economic opportunity.
Most of you know that Austria was crucially affected by the wave of refugees and new-comers in the recent years, and even more since the conflict in Syria forced hundreds of thousands of people and families to flee their home country and look for a better life.
Many of these people arrived in Austria after experiencing terrible events, drastic living conditions and deprivations. In many cases, these forced migrations result in severe traumatisms among the refugee population, due to war, torture and persecution.
ZEBRA, an Austrian NGO based in Graz, Austria, aims at providing refugees with personal and psychotherapeutic treatment in the refugees´ mother tongue, in order to facilitate their integration in the country, and to help them transition from a disrupted past to a hopeful future.
All your donations will help the NGO finance its intercultural psychotherapy programme.
