Walt Brown's fight against cancer

On Thursday, December 6, 2018, our dad Walt Brown was diagnosed with colon cancer. At this point, we do not know the extent of the cancer. Since it has metastasized to the liver, it is considered stage IV and pretty far advanced. We are awaiting an upcoming appointment with an oncologist on Monday for a biopsy, and hopefully a more exact diagnosis and prognosis. This comes as a shock to all of us, and is obviously never something you want to hear. Walt is a loving dad, grandfather, husband, uncle, brother, son, and so much more.

Please pray for healing, wisdom and favor from the doctors and healthcare providers, and strength for Walt, Janice, us kids, and the rest of his family. He is also in a lot of pain at this point, so please pray that all pain will be gone.

Already there have been many out-of-pocket expenses building up. My hope is that this page will help provide some assistance with medical expenses, travel costs, and necessities as we rally around our dad and help him fight this cancer.
