Charmaine and the Walfords need our help!
Just weeks ago, Charmaine was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, and has just undergone her second surgery to remove the large tumor. Radiation and chemotherapy will very likely follow.
As if fighting cancer wasn't challenge enough, the cost of treatment is proving as much a battle as the cancer itself! Charmaine's treatments need to be paid for in full, without Medicare assistance. The family's finances were already a serious issue prior to the diagnosis, given that Neil’s Work Visa has been slow in coming through. Living off their savings for the last 6 months, since moving to Australia, has been challenging but now the savings have almost run out. Together with the mounting medical bills, the Walford's financial situation has become critical.
