Support the Suit against DAPL

We are raising money to support the legal team from Earthjustice representing:
Standing Rock Sioux Tribe
AGAINST
Army Corps of Engineers and Dakota Access LLC.

We are hosting a concert at Ambrosia Cooperative (225 E Lakelawn PL, Madison WI) on Saturday March 4, 8PM-12AM, with all of the proceeds going directly to the fund (it's a free venue and the bands are playing pro-bono).
The bands playing include Greenhaus, Royal Station, The Earthlings and two more.
If we raise >$1,000— the money will go directly to the case fund for standing rock.
If we raise less than $1000-- the money will go to the Earthjustice general fund for cases fighting oil and gas drilling (the other case currently being argued is against an Estonian government-owned company that wants to strip 9,000 acres of oil shale near the White and Green Rivers in Utah).
Either way the money is doing great work... but also-- let's raise $1,000!!

The case against the Dakota Access LLC (a coalition of myriad business and banking interests) argues:
1. The US Army Corps violated the National Environmental Policy Act by not making an Environmental Impact Statement (called for by the Obama admin) on the Lake Oahe Crossing.
2. The easement authorizations (given by the Army Corps and exec ordered by Trump) are arbitrary, capricious and contrary to law.
3. The Oahe crossing would require a NWP permit (because it is navigable water) that it does not have (and because it doesn't, needs more environmental review)-- it also will violate the Tribe's Treaty Rights to waters of sufficient quality and quantity, if it leaks.
4. There is precedent of vacating a site awaiting environmental review, and Dakota Access LLC should comply.
