On September 16 - 17th, grassroots organizers from Connecticut will be coming together with activists from across the country to gather for the People's Congress of Resistance at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
The goal of the People's Congress is simple: to be a true representation of the concerns of the people. Activists will discuss what our country would look like if the people took it back.
We know the wealthy and well-connected are represented by the United States Congress, but what about us, the people? Millionaires don't represent us. We intend to bring together everyone from everywhere, regardless of financial status. This is why we ask for your help, with your funding we can provide transportation and rooms to stay.
Help us CT activists take our voices further than the streets! We want to respresent you! We need your help and support to take us to DC where we will unite with others and collectively show the United States Congress that if they don't support us, we the people will do it!
