The Philadelphia Society of Free Letts is always looking for ways to continue our cultural work. In order to do this, we need your help! Our building fund helps us maintain our building and continue planning capital improvements. The biggest and most expensive project we are hoping to complete this summer is refinishing the 2nd floor hardwood floors. This project will cost between $5,000 and $10,000. Other improvements that are on the short list are: fixing and repairing the ceiling and lights in the back part of the 2nd floor, finishing the updates in the ladies bathroom, and other general maintenance projects. Currently our building fund has enough money to keep up with maintenance, but we don’t have the flexibility yet to start new improvement projects, please donate to our worthy cause.

Lai šos uzdevumus varētu sekmīgi paveikt, mums ir ļoti vajadzīga Jūsu palīdzība un atbalsts! Mūsu ēkas fonds palīdz ikdienā uzturēt namu, taču ir mazas iespējas īpašumu attīstīt un atjaunot. Ļoti vēlamies šogad atjaunot mūsu ēkas otrā stāva koka grīdu, kas būtu nozīmīgs projekts, lai turpinātu organizēt sarīkojumus. Šīs ieceres izmaksas ir starp $5,000 un $10,000. Plānojam arī salabot un nomainīt griestus, nomainīt gaismas otrā stāva aizmugurē, pabeigt uzlabojumus sieviešu istabā, kā arī veikt citus mazākus darbiņus. Pašlaik mūsu ēkas fondam ir pietiekami līdzekļi, lai uzturētu ēku, bet mums nav līdzekļu, lai veiktu lielākus un mazākus nama remontus un uzsāktu jaunus projektus.
Filadelfijas Brīvo Latvju Biedrības valde aicina latviešus un viņu draugus atsaukties palīdzībai un ziedot ēkas remonta darbu veikšanai!
