My name is Trin, I have know the Lange family for 20 years. I have watched Shayne and Kerrie, dedicated parents to their beautiful family. Always striving to provide a wonderful life for there children, plus always having a open door to anyone in need.
They have had a unfair share of heart breaking events. Please help us raise money to make this heart wrenching time a little easier on the family.
We need your help to support the Lange family!
Many of you may know the Lange family from sports, schooling, disability support or through the community. Eight weeks ago Shayne was given the news that he has terminal cancer. Shayne and his wife Kerrie have raised 11 beautiful kids in their family home in Sale. Sadly they have already endured the heart wrenching tragedy of having to bury two of their children Josh and Heath. They have also been raising two of their grandchildren aged 4 and 5 since birth, which has left many emotional and financial strains for the family.
Shayne has been the main provider for the family, working away for the last six years. Kerrie has had to give up her part time job in the disability sector to care for Shayne. With neither of them able to work the family has had no income. Shayne had planned to retire soon and spend the rest of his days with his family and fixing up the family home where they would spend the rest of their lives together. Recently they were told that Shayne only has two to three weeks to live. Shayne is stressed about all of the work that needs to be done to the family home and worried about how Kerrie will afford it. To ease his mind we have set up this go fund me page to help pay for these things. The money will go towards much needed maintenance on the house, like plumbing repairs, re painting, fencing, etc. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Please help ease Shayne’s worry so that he can live his final days knowing that Kerrie will be able to get these repairs done so that she can stay in the family home.
