Help the LeMoyne Center Help Them!

The LeMoyne Community Center has been serving Washington County for over 60 years and is now embarked on a major effort to totally renovate our Center to meet today’s needs.
The LMCC recently received generous grants from multiple donors as an initial push toward our ultimate goal of a fully renovated facility able to serve the diverse needs of children through senior citizens from all parts of our local area. These initial grants were used to:
· Remove our outdated and inefficient ceiling mounted heaters
· Install new HVAC systems to replace the old units and for the first time in our history, air condition our gym!
· Install a professional grade PA system to support a wide range of Center and rental activities
· Install our first commercial-grade, six burner, convection oven range to aid our fantastic kitchen staff in preparation of tens of thousands of meals we produce for children across Washington County
HOWEVER, during this project, we, unfortunately, found other things that had to be repaired to complete the work. These other things were not covered by the grants and were not included in our operational budget. This extra work has taken a huge bite out of our operating account!
We need your help to raise $10,000 to offset these unexpected expenses, so we won’t have to curtail any of the programs we run for our local community.
Please give what you can AND pass this on to others. With your generous help, we are sure we can ‘patch this hole’ in our budget and continue our program efforts!
