The world lost a beautiful soul to a tragic incident on January 5, 2019. Haimanot was taking a walk and enjoying a warm winter day in Minnesota, when she was struck by a careless driver that ended her life. The woman responsible turned herself in this afternoon and the police are still investigating the incident.
Many of you know my dear friend Yeweyni (Weyni) Aschenaki, Haimanot is her mother.
