Support Charity & a Family Business

I own a small family owned business, that has been severly set back do to my son being born with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrom (HLHS), a serious congenital heart condition that requires lots of surgierys that end up leaving him with half of a funtioning heart.  

It's been and continues to be a long journey.



Over the last 2 years Laith has had 8 procedures (Including 3 open heart operations) he also has suffered from 2 major strokes. Miracuously, through much prayer, patience and great medical care at Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus Ohio, Laith is doing really well. (They thought he would never walk again. Some great charities have helped us out along the way including the Ronald McDonald House, Nationwide Childrens Hospital, Childrens Hospital Washington, D.C, Mended Little Hearts, and others. 

Which brings us to this story. My small business ( www.brightviewcleaning.com ) which helps support our family is in need of capital to get spinning again. Instead of persuing money directly from the bank, and making a bank rich, I'd like to ask you for help and help charities that have help us and those like us.

Help us keep a family business running, help us keep and create jobs and most of all help non-profit charities that help familys dealing with sever childhood health issues.  

Heres how it will work. Instead of us or the business keeping the money, we only want to use what is needed to help us kick off our spring season upon which the business is self-sustaining and profitable. It will basically be a loan/line of credit to help Brightview Cleaning get through the beginning of spring.

So, Every dollar donated will be donated to charity with-in a year and a half. (perferablly much sooner, if at all possible, but since I can't predict every little thing I would rather not promise something that I may not be able to 100% control.) 

100% of the money donated (including the money go-fund me charges as their fees)  will be donated to a variety of non-profit charitys including:

• Greg Olson's foundation Receptions for research / the Heartest Yard.,

• The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbus Ohio

• The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Washington, DC

•Mended little hearts, Nationwide Childrens (non-profit) hospital

•Children's National Hospital (non-profit) Washington, D.C.,

• Potentially other simular non-profit charities

The money will be used by the business on a limited as needed basis to pay the first two weeks of spring time payroll, some initial spring time marketing, the purchase of spring time supplies as needed. Once the business is in the busy season and generating cash, it's first priority will be to start repaying any money it has borrowed from the charity donations, and to donate all funds that have been donated through this go fund me. 

By donating you will be helping not just these great and amazing non-profits charities, you will let our family and our family business recover from the last two years of dealing with our son's condition.  In the last two years, even though we live in Maryland, we have spent a little over 8 months in Ohio, at Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House. Help us get our life back, our business back, help these great charities, and help us to get in a position as a business to continue to give back for many years to come.
