Support Sawyer's fight against Leukemia (T-ALL)

Sawyer is the 19-year-old son to Nathan and Stephanie Cornett, older brother to Hudson, and friend to everyone he meets. On July 16, 2019, Sawyer was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This family has had their world turned upside down in a moment. Due to the aggressive treatment plan Sawyer will not be able to attend his upcoming Sophomore year at Cleveland State University, where he was on the fencing team.
Sawyer is also battling Cellulitis, a serious bacterial skin infection, in his leg which resulted in the diagnosis of the leukemia.
Sawyer has started chemo. The initial treatment will last about a month and confine him to the hospital. If successful, he can go home and continue primarily as an outpatient, with full treatment lasting through several more stages of chemo for a total of 6 months. The medical team did find cancer cells in his spinal fluid, which means he will have to endure multiple spinal taps a week until those cells are gone.
In addition to the financial strain with Sawyer's leukemia diagnosis, the Cornetts will also be juggling cancer treatment in another city; Stephanie's time off of work and another active older son who will be a Junior in High School.
The Cornetts never asked for this trial, but we know beyond any doubt they will handle it like champions and give all the glory to God. Let's hold Sawyer, Nathan, Stephanie, and Hudson up with our prayers and willingness to help however we can. Sawyer and Jesus Christ will have the victory.
