Assisting Caleb Johnson's wife Sam

This campaign is being set up to benefit Samantha Johnson, 21,  of Tehachapi, California,  the newly widowed wife of 22 year old Caleb Johnson. Caleb tragically passed away in a fishing/boating accident near Mammoth Lakes, California, on October 15, 2016. Caleb and Samantha had only been married for 11 months prior to the accident, which also took the lives of Samantha's brother and father.  

Samantha and Caleb were  self-employed entrepreneurs in the area of high-performance enhancing automotive upgrades, a business that was growing quickly but still in its early stages. Unfortunately, Samantha will now be unable to continue the business without her husband's expertise.  

Samantha is close to receiving her associates degree in business through Bakersfield College and hopes if, possible, to continue her studies.  She has many loving family and friends, but no financially supportive means at this time. She is dedicated to supporting herself and continuing her life in every way possible to honor her late-husband and to make him proud of her.

This campaign is being set up by John and Karen Johnson.  We are Caleb's parents and Samantha's in-laws from Tehachapi, California.  Our purpose for the funds is two-fold:  1) To allow Samantha to complete her college education.  She is currently in the middle of a semester, is a top student, and has a full-time class load.  2) To cover Samantha's basic living expenses while she navigates this new chapter in her life without any source of income.  This will allow her time to heal and set a new course without the pressure of having to find a job immediately.
