Even in the midst of their lives being turned upside down the strength these two are providing each other is clearly seen in this recent Facebook post. Let’s face it however cancer is not only the worst disease known to man, but it’s an incredibly expensive proposition as well. Financial hardship is faced by many patients while going through treatment, this is certainly the case with Nicole and Heath. Nicole was forced to leave work on the 7th September to prepare for Chemotherapy, so the household income has been halved since this time. Recently rejected for any Centrelink assistance with Heaths income falling just on the wrong side of the line, these two and the kids are doing it extremely tuff.
Please friends and family keep in touch with them, continue sending kind words as this battle is not fought overnight and join this crowd funding to provide some financial assistance, it would be great to hit and exceed our campaign goal.

To all who formed the 12 tables in thursday night's quiz it was really wonderful to have your support for what was both a fun and a fundraiser evening for Nicole and Heath Walker.

Thank you to all of the sponsors that provided wonderful gifts for the event. Daz you did an amazing job in such a short time, John, Rocket, Paul the Sorell clan, the Hobart FC and to all that contributed to this worthy cause.

Paul did a really fabulous job keeping the evening rolling along smoothly, with plenty of fun in between, and thank you to the architect Terry for pulling it all together.

It was truly amazing to see so many get behind and support one of our own and for all to embrace and enjoy a great evening.

One of the highlights of the night, the cheetos challenge check out the before and after pictures. Thanks to all we raised an extraordinary $2300, which moves the grand total raised to $3410. Please encourage anyone else who might wish to support Heath and Nicole to contribute, so we can achieve the $5,000 target. Thanks all!
