Support Natalie’s Fight Against Rare Cancer!

Hello – my name is Jocelyn Lafferty and my family has been blessed to know Tom & Natalie for a little over 20+ years.  As some of you already know, Natalie has been diagnosed with a rare & very aggressive sinus cancer.  But there is so much more to her story.

Natalie is one of those unique human beings whose presence can enhance your life simply by just knowing her.  She exudes light and love and her generous spirit knows no bounds.  She is a mother of three beautiful children - Ray, Sam and Anaya, a devoted wife to Tom and a teacher by profession.  Natalie has also served in the Children’s Ministry at Journey Community Church, is a Girl Scout troop leader and is constantly finding ways to serve others.  This only briefly describes her many, many attributes!

Natalie has also been a surrogate for 3 families, literally bringing life to this world and joy to new families.  Her last surrogate pregnancy in the fall of 2018 was difficult.  She had started feeling severe sinus pressure accompanied with headaches.  But because of her pregnancy, doctors did not do any diagnostic testing (MRI scans) and, at the time, attributed her symptoms to a sinus infection.  February 2019, Natalie gave birth to a healthy baby girl; a priceless gift for a new family.  Shortly after she gave birth, she was finally able to get tested for the terrible sinus issues that had been bothering her.  Only then did the doctors discover the tragic cancerous tumor growing steadily in her sinus cavity.  She has already started her battle with cancer and will be undergoing a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.

This campaign is for all of us to shine our own light and love back to the Mascari family as they are in desperate need of monetary support during this very difficult time.  With Natalie unable to work and medical expenses, they need our support!
