Support Mike, Erin & Sumi after House Burning

On Tuesday afternoon March 19, Mike Lane, Erin, Mason, Wylie & Sumi Suda's family home caught on fire and burned. The house and all items in the house have been lost to the fire and the toxic fumes. Nothing is salvageable and they lost their cherished cat, medium spice in the fire. The cause is believed to be due to faulty electrical. No one was home at the time and everyone is okay.
The resiliency and adaptability that our beloved friends contain is absolutely astounding. It's truly amazing to witness the way they are remaining unattached to material possessions and are keeping a positive outlook on life even in the most difficult of times. The example they are setting is once again a powerful one. It goes without saying that this family is a real gift to our community in a myriad of ways.
In setting up this fund raising site we hope to, as a community, come together to help buy a yurt as a temporary dwelling site while they figure out their next steps. They did not have renters insurance which means they will not be reimbursed for all the belongings they lost. It is our hope that we can raise enough money for them to buy a yurt and replace important items that they need to live.
