Support Michael thru Illness

On March 6th 2017 Michael was admitted to the Hospital with acute double pneumonia. Antibiotics were not enough to save his life; he was fighting critical infection in His right lung. On Thursday 3.09.17 he was put on life support and blessed by a miracle he survived a massive 3.5 hour Lung Surgery. Michael’s lungs were cut open to remove the infection; four chest tubes were then placed inside his chest to drain. Parts of his lungs were already considered dead.  Michael remained on a ventilator machine for 16 days. After 23 days in hospital he is thankfully breathing on his own and was released from the hospital.  The surgeon anticipates it will take several months of painful healing/therapy before he will be able to return to any physical activity, his lung capacity is severally reduced and they had to cut his ribs to get to his lungs. Michael does thankfully have Health Insurance but does not have any type of short term disability. Along with this illness he is currently unemployed and without resources until he is able to obtain a new job.  He owns a home and therefore we are asking for help on only the basic living expenses to maintain his Mortgage, Insurances, Utilities, prescription/Dr office co-pays. It is very difficult to ask for financial help and of course he has a loving family who will assist in as many needs as possible. Any donation you are capable of making would help lift a large worry of losing his home.  We have tried to carefully calculate for only the needed basic expenses for the next couple months.
