Support Maribel’s Breast Cancer Fight

If you have ever had he pleasure of getting to know Maribel, you would realize almost immediately just how beautiful of a person she is, inside and out. More caring, considerate, and thoughtful than anyone I’ve ever met. I feel that everyone in life has their flaws, but with this women I have yet to find one; which makes it even harder to cope with the reality that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is scheduled to undergo a double mastectomy, and breast reconstructive surgery by next week. 




With tears in her eyes, she broke the news to her MOOR family this week that she will be gone for some time while she fights this battle. Emotions swept our entire team. You could see and feel the heart break in each and every person that evening. Everyone in life, no matter who you are, is going through something, but seeing this women stand in front of us, fearless as can be despite being dealt the worst hand possible, made me, and hopefully everyone else realize that no matter what you are going through in life, you must stand tall with your chin up and FIGHT back. You never stop fighting, you never allow defeat. 




I’m hoping that with the unwavering support of Maribel’s friends and family that we can help to alleviate at least some of this burden that has been put on her. No amount is too small if we all come together and help as much as possible. With that being said, I will end with this quote:  "She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her way, she simply adjusted the sail."
