Let's help Maria Jesus Causape fight Stage IV Ovarian Cancer
Maria Jesus was diagnosed at the end of April of this year with stage IV ovarian cancer, which is the most aggressive and advanced form of this type of cancer. The cancer metastasized to the lymphatic system and has caused fluid retention in the lungs and heart. Before her diagnosis, Maria Jesus had to stop working because of the weak state of health in which she was, with a cough caused by the liquid in her lungs, misdiagnosed as a cold, and with severe fatigue caused by the liquid in her heart.
Now, four months later, she is receiving chemotherapy to reduce the size of the cancer. Everything seems to be working out and the drainage of fluid from the lungs and heart is less frequent and is needed now only once a week. She continues her treatment with the goal of defeating cancer and resuming her life in the company of her children, Laura and David, who are her life. Maria Jesús continues with her battle against cancer with more chemotherapy treatments and a coming surgery.
Unfortunately, Maria Jesus is also accumulating expenses that her medical insurance does not cover and despite feeling better, she has not been able to return to work. Her family, her friends, and her children support her but more is still needed. Maria Jesus is a great woman, known and appreciated for her kindness, her vocation as a religion teacher, attending children in kindergartens and love for her family and especially for her two children.

Maria Jesus fue diagnosticada al final Abril de este año con cancer de ovario etapa 4 la cual es la forma mas agresiva y avanzada de este tipo de cancer. El cancer hizo metástasis y se encuentra el sistema linfático y ha causado la retención de liquido en los pulmones y corazón. Antes de su diagnóstico, Maria Jesus tuvo que dejar de trabajar por el débil estado de salud en el cual se encontraba, con un tos mal diagnosticada como un resfriado y que era consecuencia del líquido en sus pulmones y con cancio severo por el liquido en su corazon.
Ahora, cuatro meses después, ella está recibiendo tratamiento de quimioterapia para reducir el tamaño del cancer. Todo parece estar resultando y el drenaje de líquido de los pulmones y corazón es menos frecuentes y solo lo necesita una vez por semana. Ella continua su tratamiento con el objetivo de vencer el cancer y volver a retomar su vida en compañía de sus hijos, Laura y David, que son la razón de su vida. María Jesús continua su batalla contra el cancer y seguirá con mas tratamientos de quimioterapia y una intervención quirúrgica.
Lamentablemente, Maria Jesus también esta acumulando gastos que su seguro médico no cubre y a pesar de sentirse mejor, ella no ha podido volver a trabajar. Maria Jesus es una gran mujer, conocida y apreciada por su bondad, sus vocación de profesora de catecismo, atendiendo niños en jardines infantiles y amor por su familia y especialmente por sus dos hijos.
