Support the Daigle family

Lisa Daigle is the most fun loving and kind-hearted gal I know. Over that past few months Lisa and her family have experienced more pain and tragedy than many people do in a life time. A few months ago Lisa's mother, Debbie, fell gravely ill when an aneurysm ruptured in her brain. The rupture resulted in a severe subarachnoid hemorrhage. She was treated at Yale New Haven hospital, and thankfully, she survived the surgery.

Over the past few months her condition has improved, although the road a head remains long and tiresome.

Lisa has spent weeks away from her home in Chicago, helping her family stay afloat. Her brother Nicholas moved home and together, with their father Arthur, they took care of her Mother, and her 92 year old grandfather (Debbie was his primary caretaker at the time of her accident).

Anyone that knows Lisa, will tell you she is exactly the person you want around when things go wrong. Always there to step up and make things happen. Lisa stayed in Connecticut to help her family cope with this tragedy. Nick and Lisa stepped up to help their parents and grandfather. I never heard a complaint. Not once.

This past Saturday, the family experienced another heart-wrenching and unexpected tragedy when Lisa's brother Nick passed away suddenly in his sleep. The family is heart-broken.

Her brother Nicholas was a wonderful, warm-hearted funny guy. Everyone who knew him loved him. When his mother fell ill, he rose to the occassion and moved home to take care of her and his grandfather. Without hesitation or complaint. He loved his family, and they loved him.
