Hi! I’m Ed Jenkins, creator of Lalo’s Lunchbox , a high-energy children’s video series focused on teaching kids how to eat good food and do good deeds. I believe it is desperately important in our culture to help children learn how to have healthy bodies AND it’s equally important to help them learn how to be loving and kind.
If you’ve been around kids, you know these things don’t always come naturally! So I’ve created video entertainment that captures the short attention span of preschool and early elementary-aged children. Within 3 minutes my character, Lalo, his magic Lunchbox and his friend Daisy discover fruit and vegetable recipes while learning a social skill. (Take a look at how Daisy learns patience as she helps make strawberry jam: here! ) So far I have 12 videos that cover everything from bananas and brie, to serving and sharing. You can watch the playlist on YouTube (and parents, it’s a great way to entertain your kids while you wait in the doctor’s lobby – or better yet, in the grocery store checkout line!)

I have an amazing team that has given their time and talent for dirt cheap, but even so, it costs a lot to produce 4 videos. Once I’ve had the education from this workshop, I’ll be fully equipped with knowledge to use what I’ve learned—but I need to be fully equipped with money to make it so.
